The twin hills of Udaigiri & Khandagiri, located near Bhubaneshwar (Orissa), is known worldwide for its its rock-cut caves. Dating more than 2,000 years back, the rock-cut hills of Udaigiri and Khandagiri with its architectural and sculptural beauty is great fascination for tourists from all over.

7 km far from Bhubaneshwar (the capital of Orissa), the ancient caves of Udaigiri and Khandagiri date back to 200 BC. 135 feet high Udaigiri Caves and 118 feet Khandagiri Caves face each other, and are abode to fine impression of many of Jain and Buddhist occupations in the region. Beautiful carvings and inscriptions on rock-surface present a wonderful realm to see with wide your astonishing eyes open. The both hills with its unique sculptural work are said to be the most magnificent example of all Pali records found so far.
