Lying in the heart of Udaipur, the City Palace is situated on the bank of famous Pichola Lake, which heightens its magnificence. Though the earlier construction of the palace was ordered by Maharana Udai Singh Ji which was later carried forth by his successors, yet the whole complex maintains its architectural uniformity very brilliantly. The old parts of the City Palace complex have been converted into museum, which act as a fine showcase of legacy of Rajput rulers.

The museum of the City Palace is undoubtedly the best attraction of the complex as watching here large range of artefacts are fine wonder for tourists.
